Pretty small and congested. Doesn't have a car parking, Only two wheelers. Even if you bring cars just to drop someone in the front you'd be greeted by jeers and loud bonk horns to keep moving. Even before you could complete the dropping. The place would be swarmed by a lot of people. High COVID alert. And people would be just lying by there at the entrance. Like they're having a time in their beds at home.
Actually Coimbatore railway station was normal not so special and outside view of railway station is good and construction good But railway staffs are don't have patients to provide a train tickets They are only told fault is ours We are not a kid and we are not working here to know the all details about train timings If we written all details properly so simply they reject the form and said this train cancelled But when I checked the train is available So it's happening for mostly all people's Because I seen everyone first the fall their not treated as a customer they treat like a student So working staff behaviour and arrogant characters I don't like
Coimbatore junction is in southern railway Salem division. From this junction most part of the country is covered. This station located near coimbatore medical college hospital and state bank of india head office. Presently due to covid 19 less trains are operating from this junction. Most part of the kera district trains from otherstates need to cross this junction.
Neatly maintained Railway station. The entrance is always chaotic. Decent hotels for food and stay available.
Most spacious railway station and they are known for excellent maintenance since ages.
Very crowded area. Security checks need to be tightened since it is election time
