Without doubts, one of the best places to stay in Portugal! I had for the second time this excellent experience of staying for 20 days! A competent team: Raul (manager), Maria and Alice! The cleanliness of the place is a plus! The feeling is that we are in family! The location is another plus(the location is great, there are some stores around it, and just a walking distance to all famous and main tourist places in Coimbra)! Everybody tries to make your stay more then just comfortable. I can't wait to come back to Coimbra and stay at the Change the World Hostel! FABRIZIO

Great place to stay & fantastic location. I’ve been staying in hostels over the past 2 years and I have to say this one was very clean and comfortable. I appreciate lots of bathrooms and the 10 bed dorm attic space which was a good break from the bunk beds which even came with a personal night stand. Staff is friendly, fellow travelers were also nice and even the cleaning lady spoke a little bit of English. The only downside for some of you might be the steps to get to the top floor but it was ok for me especially if considering it a little workout. This hostel has a kitchen so you can make your own meals.

I stayed at this hostel for nearly 2 weeks and I can honestly say it has been my favourite hostel in Portugal. The hostel was cleaned everyday, from top to bottom, as well as hand sanitizers. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, Bruno, Alice were great volunteers!!! The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city, walking distance from all the restaurants and bars, as well as two big supermarkets. Great value for money and I would definitely come back :)

Very pleasant stay, gentle and helpful staff, clean, fresh, there is a kitchen and a restroom downstairs. Ancient building in a very center of student Coimbra , but the hostel is very modern. Adore white sheets and puffy pillows Just behind the corner there is a street with all the lovely fado music evenings We listened to Mrs. Ines de Brito, she is The Fado Diva Highly recommended!

Perfect! It's a very modern and sweet hostel located in the heart of Coimbra. The staff is friendly and the rooms are probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in with pretty comfortable beds. I'd recommend going there :)
