Small place but great ambiance. The two guys playing the guitars and the guy singing were just great. Can't wait to see another fado concert. Just love it!

The Fado ao Centro is a music school and a well-known house of the typical Fado from Coimbra. It invites the visitors to witness the open rehearsals that happen daily at 4 p.m. The live concerts are every afternoon at 6 p.m. Reservation is highly recommended. The house also offers performance under appointment.
I had an amazing experience here. The guitarists were so talented and the singers we amazing. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see fado from Coimbra.
Lovely place in the middle of the old town. Great performance. Enjoyed learning more about the history of Fado.
Live Fado music can be heard through the day from this house half way up the hill. It's great to listen to the professionals, and to eavesdrop on their discussion on the music! And to rest while climbing the Hill. And buy a CD!
I was able to sit outside and listen to the music, as the inside was full. It was beautiful and the beer was cold.
The small size of the venue makes it more intimate. Absolutely great fado presentation. I loved it!
