Don't get fooled by the look of the building from outside. The restaurant has a stylish, modern interior with comfortable seats, good lighting and generally has a good atmosphere. Fresh and very tasty sushi. Lunch menu is a good deal. I usually don't eat dessert but don't skip it here, you won't be disappointed! Very lovely staff. Highly recommend this place.

The sushi felt really fresh and with good quality. The decoration of the restaurant is really cosy and vintage. Prices around 22/person at dinner time (at lunch during working days they have some promotions)
If not the best, clearly on the top two of the sushi restaurants in the city. The sushi, Sashimi and chefs creativity is above average as is the simpathy and openess of the staff. The price is a bit on the high end but its oh so worth it and you get your money's worth.
I went to visit this wonderful restaurant in coimbra with a friend ! It’s a very cozy place , lovely decoration . Sushi was absolutely delicious ! One of the best sushi restaurants in town .
We went for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. It doesn't look much from the outside but inside it is very comfortable and the sushi is fresh and fabulous. Our waiter was also the barman and made us his special cocktail on the house as it was my partner's birthday. We'll be back.
One of the best (tradicional) sushi restaurants in Coimbra
We had an exceptional experience here. The service was perfect - on the ball, interested and engaged, assiduous without being overbearing. Kudos to our waiter Francisco for excellent work! The food was sublime. We had gyozas (dumplings) to start, really well cooked and flavoursome. We then had a sushi and sashimi platter (see photo). It was imaginative and expertly prepared. All of the basics were done really well and there were some gorgeous little innovations, for example a touch of black truffle oil on a salmon nigiri, that really elevated the food. Would definitely recommend it for the food alone! However, it was the bartender Gonçalo who really made our night. He was definitely in his element, keen to show off his passion and experience, able to listen to what we wanted and provide us with cocktails that had amazing depth and imagination. Would also definitely recommend Shari just for his expertise alone! We splurged. Shari is not cheap and I can see the price putting people off. The platter we had (see photo) was 40 euros. That said, it was nice to see staff that, across the board, take such obvious pleasure and pride in working to such a high standard, and we will definitely be coming back again.
