I really enjoyed Murphy's. I will definitely be back. The burger is excellent. I would consider this one of the better \themed\ bars in Coimbra. The space is alot bigger than it looks from he outside. The decor is spot on and well taken care of. I enjoyed the burger and a very good craft beer. Highly recommend. One of my favorite places in Coimbra. I would love to see some live music here from time to time. I think it would really enhance the environment.

A nice pub in a nice area but does not seem popular with locals. The place next door was packed but they have many outdoor tables. Lots of different beers .. excellent as a beer pub. Nice decor inside and a few outdoor tables, not nearly enough for groups. My wife had an omelette for dinner..very good. I tried the Franchesina for the first time ever. Did not love it! It has a very chewy/tough sausage in it that I would never get again. The service was efficient and friendly. No Irish/British food at all. No real complaint re the food but I think it's better for beer and snacks than dinner.
