Great course, excellent tutors, poor management and planning on the admin side. During Covid we are expected to run online only forms of office365 which has different, or lesser functionality than the desktop counter-part. We are expected to relearn and troubleshoot issues with online office on top of all the other stresses of passing this course. Having had a meeting with the IT team i was told “help button is your friend”, how condescending. This is quite obviously a cost cutting measure, as all other colleges I’ve been to offer desktop versions. Those with lesser IT skills have had no real guidance or teaching on how to correctly work at home, some of my fellow students having regular issues with viewing the classwork, watching lectures, finding files, downloading desktop versions of apps, using the online versions of apps which don't work as the desktop ones do, and so on. I would not recommend this college to anybody. Go to a more professional outfit. The tutors are far and away the best I’ve ever had though, which is a shame. Hopefully things change in the future.
