We have been taking our dogs here for years. The staff have always been very helpful even with short notice bookings. They even helped me with an injured pigeon the animal was out of their remit but due to the current situation ( covid ) no one else wanted to help so they said I could take it in. Thank you

I dropped in here after one of the aristocats I serve sustained an injury to his left front leg following an altercation whilst he was out socialising. \Harry\ returned home after a night on the tiles with a large cut to his front left shoulder/top of leg. As the dutiful servant that I am, i bathed and applied anti septic to the wound. (Aristocats are not financially forthcoming and I have currently fallen on extremely hard times due to a serious illness and have no income) The following day I observed a dramatic change in eating habits,behaviour and appearance... the only thing I could do was take him to my local vet's and plead for them to help him. St.Runwalds - came to \Our\ aid. They were AMAZING... \Harry\ needed pain killers and anti biotics... urgently... The immediate service and care that St Runwalds provided us with was nothing short of \The Best\. It was an extremely stressful time for us.. however.., TINA W - REALLY pulled out all of the stops for us. Nothing short of passionate about \Harry's\ well-being. When the Rspca and Pdsa failed us, TINA and the rest of the staff at ST. RUNWALDS REALLY CARED for both of us. I really am so grateful... \Harry\ is back to his chilled out happy self.. THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH X
Very unhappy with the total unprofessional nature of this practice from giving prescriptions in wrong dogs names, to not giving dosage so couldn’t get them administered as well as duplicating previous prescription instead of increasing as discussed ... to cancelling operations when dog on site despite knowing he had enlarged heart and heart murmur and stating they could “give it a go”, to not knowing what dosage/medication dog is on, to changing dogs breed to mixed even though official paperwork is 100% Shihzu... . to them claiming two full anaesthetics for a small ad on procedure instead of just charging for top up as usual. To advising myself to cancel claim with insurance company so they could do slight refund (which substantiates overcharging). Which would then leave me having to pay myself for any further work required on his teeth as would then be pre existing condition and not ongoing insurance claim ... such awful advice ... and once I stated this was totally wrong and unprofessional had the audacity to state to my husband I wanted the insurance claim cancelled ... just lies and something very wrong at the helm here! One person blames another and nothing adds up then when that doesn’t work they blame the client! Never known anything like it ! They don’t like putting anything in emails which comes as No surprise as then can deny everything they have said verbally and even when on a voicemail they deny their staff would advise that ... beggars belief it truly does! Please also note as could hit someone hard if expensive op needed under insurance ... thankfully not the case for us as low amount but they DO INSIST you pay upfront even if insured and you claim it back yourself! Could be expensive lesson to learn and they do not advise this when you state you will be going down insurance route,
Adhered to social distancing, masks etc. Happy with treatment, fast, no messing. So pleased we switched back to this vet a few years back! Highly recommended.
So very kind, caring and empathetic for all animals and their owners. 100% professionalism and love shown by everyone.
