My kids were more prepared for college by teachers and classes here than at a previous school. Good quality education, clubs, music, arts, and sports. Currently remodeling to improve education and safety. Community is supportive of schools and programs. Teachers and administration receptive to parent and student concerns and special needs.

Great school if you’re good at sports and have no personality. Horrible staff, incompetently run, very few good teachers, curriculum set around athletes and nobody else, and an absolutely horrible way of treating bullying. If you get sick, well, you better hope your teachers are nice because if they aren’t you will sink straight to the bottom with no way back up. No wonder they lose so much staff every year, the workplace is horrible! Cramped classrooms, things constantly breaking down and just no respect for anyone. All I care about is that I got my diploma and I will never have to set foot in the high school ever again. Don’t send your child here unless they are void of personality and can do a sport. Don’t work here unless you like being mistreated by other members of staff. Just don’t go here. If you still somehow think this school is good, then may God have mercy on your soul, because this school certainly won’t. Don’t even get me started on how they think that saying ‘we’ll look into it’ will fix every problem with no extra work involved. It doesn’t. Either this school needs to be fixed or it just needs to be gone.

Colfax schools have the best music program anywhere around. Colfax jazz and concert bands compete against schools literally ten times larger, and Colfax continually outperforms other bands all across the region. If your child chooses band in Colfax, they will gain a life long love of music. Don't miss the opportunity to hear the Colfax jazz or concert band perform.

We chose to opt into this school district. How ever they say they offer resources that they dont. My son missed out on academic all state award because and I quote coach \Its just a piece of paper \ they really dont seem to have any accountability new athletic director same corrupt situation shame on Colfax
