Working with Colin Healy is a pleasure and a privilege. We asked him to design changes to make our first floor wheelchair accessible, create an accessible first floor bathroom and to renovate our second floor bathroom. His experience and thoroughness in thinking through the changes needed to accomplish our goals have been both impressive and reassuring. He is a fantastic educator and counselor with regard to all building-related matters. After taking his recommendations into account, we pulled out of our initial offer on a house and found one that was a much better fit. We then worked with him to hammer out the architectural changes we would need. Whenever I had a question about the building, he was willing to take a look and make recommendations about the structure. He also helped guide our aesthetic choices and prevented us from making some mistakes that I know I would have regretted later. His professionalism and communication skills are top-notch, which make working with him a joy. He cares deeply about his work, and he makes sure that things go well. When you work with him, you know that you’ll love the home you’re living in and be able to sell it later.

Collin involved us in all the planning of our updated kitchen. He quickly emailed plans as we finetuned them with him. He figured out how rotating shelves in the new cabinet corners and large new sliding drawers under the stove would make easy access to cooking pans and bowls, and could fit into our existing space. He took us to see materials we might use and order, knowing just the places to look. We love the new recessed lighting in our ceiling. A larger window not only brings in more light, but highlights our view outside.. He also has an artist’s eye for materials and colors and quickly sensed our taste. All the workers he had working with him were efficient , knowledgeable, and accommodating. His contractor got town approval for the renovation project in a timely fashion. I Hired Colin to update my home as I get older. He did a fantastic job on accommodating the bathrooms, walkways and steps. My house looks amazing and he is totally on point with everything he promised. The prices are fair and the work meticulous. Thank you Colin for your help with this project.
Colin's care and attention to ALL the details that make a house lovely, comfortable and livable for seniors is wonderful. He's exceptional.
