A beautifully preserved monastery, completely isolated in the middle of a forest. Getting through its walls feels like stepping back in time. It is continually restored and recently a large part of the monastery has been opened to the public, making a visit really well worth it. The monks live in isolation and produce some spirit, quite delicious! The pharmacy deserves particular attention; it represents one of the best preserved ancient pharmacies, with plenty of frescos, furniture and pharmacy items on display. My ancestor, Fra Benedetto Ricciardi, is depicted on the waiting room’s wall in the corner.

The Certosa di Trisulti was a real surprise. Never heard of it, I decided to visit it one Sunday in Augustve I was impressed. The entrance costs 5 per person with guide and the groups are not too numerous. The local pharmacy is unique, never seen something like this with ampoules and vases containing medicines and herbs of centuries ago. The main church is also beautiful, divided by an incredibly carved wooden wall. Beautiful are the \secret\ passages to enter and exit the church, the lecterns and the... The visit lasts about 1h30 but time seems to fly. Very beautiful also the forest that is in front of you for a walk in nature

The new tennants (B.Harnwell and S.Bannon) want to make a new Wewelsburg from this beautiful place, so sad.
