It seems every time I follow up to check on the status of our bankruptcy, I'm told the court hasn't finalized it because of some error. My recommendation is don't assume your bankruptcy has been finalized until you receive proof. It's been 9 months and without my follow-up, I'm unsure as to whether it would be ever finalized.
