We celebrated our wedding here! It was so beautiful and exceeded every want and expectation I had. From start to finish they were so accommodating and wonderful to work with. The rooms are so adorable and clean. They certainly have mastered the art of hospitality and ensuring their guests are taken care! We recommend Coloma Cottages to everyone!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coloma cottages. It's a lovely location on the American River. Our cottage was very clean and we had a lovely view of the river from our back deck. Our kitchen had everything that we needed for cooking our simple meals. Our hosts were very nice as well. It was great for our two families to have the time together to decompress. The only couple of things I would suggest is an updated list of local restaurants with new Covid hours and perhaps a list of local stores that sell raft floats (or suggestion to bring your own) as well as good entry and exit points near the cottages. The notes about life vests were right on target. Make sure to stock up on groceries before town. I hope that we're able to come back it was a wonderful discovery!
At the start of a long road trip, meant to be spent camping, our truck had an issue and needed to be serviced. Serendipitously, we wound up staying at Coloma Cottages. It is so peaceful and relaxing here, and the surroundings are beautiful. Nancy and Danika are amazingly helpful and friendly. Our cottage, #4, is beautifully decorated, has a killer deck overlooking the river, and we enjoyed the sound of the water burbling by all night. The unit was spotless, the kitchen was a big help and fully stocked with utensils and cookware to make whipping up a meal easy. There were so many nice touches that made us feel at home, and I will look forward to our next stay. Danika went above and beyond squeezing us in unexpectedly and being in touch late at night to make sure we were taken care of. This place is a total gem. I would come back in a minute, and will plan to stay again in the future.
Coloma Cottages was unbelievable! The room was fantastic and the hospitality warm and welcoming. The view from the deck was spectacular. It made our honeymoon perfect. We love that all the little details in the rooms are thought of, it makes it feel like a home away from home. It allowed us to just pamper each other and relax. We already booked for 2021, our 1st year anniversary! Thank you Coloma Cottages!
