Airtel fails miserably in providing information on their customer service points. Customer service staff informed me that I can get my thing done at a Bell store in Colombo 14. I went there only to find a Lanka bell office and the receptionist told me that the airtel client servicing facility is not set up and requested me to proceed to WTC Fort. I tried calling the hotline and had to listen to adverts for 15 mins. I couldnt talk to client service staff. Dejected i got an address of another customer support centre at maligawatta . I tried calling no answer. I went there only to find the IT dept. of Airtel and clients are not served there. From there too I tried calling the hotline and was put on hold for another 10 mins. A client cant even get through to a call centre executive speaks volume of the customer care provided . Really pathetic.

This is the Airtel Data Center, not a customer care service point. High security area, you cannot enter this premises without an entry pass. You can’t find any Airtel employees here, all workers are from other vendors like Huawei.

Absolutely shameful and inefficient customer service!!! What a money scam they carry on! And all the false information provided by the customer service. I was assured my connection was instantly disconnected after settling all the due amounts, but they have actually taken over one month to process my request of service disconnection. Airtel expects me to pay a monthly bill for the time their poor service took!! After i phoned and informed about the situation and stated im not willing to pay for a service period i didn't use, i received a mail two days later claiming to sue me! What a joke airtel sri lanka! Do not recommend this service at all to anyone
