Nice food place in a busy street.. new concept, friendly staff, great food. A nice place for a quick hangout with a friend. There are only few seating space with few bar chairs. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, desserts and various kinds of drinks made with Dilmah tea flavours are available here. Value for money. And they offer lovely coffee.
This place is setting the standards that the county must aspire to great staff service superior experience with the food
Tried their Chicken fried rice through UberEats which was made with olive oil and there were cashew nuts in it too. It was good and well packaged. The portion sizes were good too. The wooden spoon given with it was very inconvenient due to its shape. Tried their Pasta ai funghi and it was good too.
The granola pot is really good Better if you can add more than one slice of strawberry though

Brew 1867 is a small outlet by Dilmah. This was opened recently in navam mawatha. Very good or I would rather say busy location. Streets is always full of the office crowd. Nice place with modern look. This outlet is done with the concept of ‘grab and go’ where all the food and drink items are packed already, and it is available in shelves. You can just grab it pay and go. You have the option of heating your food items as well. This will be done on request at the counter. Also, I noticed in every pack they have mentioned ‘made today gone today’ meaning these items are only available for the day. I tried vegetable sandwich, brownies with faluda. Food was amazing and fresh as well. I noticed there were some magazines, tin caddies and few other Dilmah products available on a shelf. You can purchase those as well. This seems like mainly targeted to take away as you have only limited space to sit and have a snack. I haven’t seen this kind of a concept here in Srilanka and I think this new concept going well. You should check this place out if you happen to pass that area.
