Government body to protect marine environment in Sri Lanka. They does coastal cleanups, grow corel reefs, plant mangroves in the beach lines. As a nation we have to support their service to protect our marine environment around 1340 km coastal line in Sri lanka. They want us to join with their projects where they are lacking with volunteers to proceed with their project.
This is an government office. They care for people too. They are protecting and regulating issues related to ocean and harbor
This place work for protect the Marine environment and regulate the relevant activities related to the Island harbours and ocean.
I didn't visit this place but heard that many coast and lower deep sea environment related matters are handled by this institute.
Really good services offered by great staff. Helped in my research on marine environment.
