He is the winner of the prestigious Jewellers of America Jewel Award (1996) and the Golden Apple Award for Innovation. He has painted over 500 paintings, employing inspiration from his travels and passion for tackling social issues through art. Although most of his work is on canvas using acrylics, he also creates sculptures and installations using upcycling principles.
