I have called & left voicemail & emailed with absolutely no response at all!!! So unprofessional & unorganized...makes me wonder who is running the place if anyone is at all! And to the person who is \employed\ there & left a review....this is unacceptable & not allowed, it's considered to be a conflict of interest...

While each individual facility has its own strengths and challenges, the people here at headquarters have always been more than helpful every time I've called for information. People who have experienced otherwise may want to reflect on the way they might have conveyed their request. It is understandable to be upset, stressed, angry etc. when your loved one is incarcerated and nobody (including and especially the staff here) is blaming you for that. These people legitimately want to help but are in no way obligated to do so if you choose not to act respectfully. Thank you to all of the empathetic, patient people who have responded so quickly to my inquiries and requests over the years, even when some of them seemingly came out of left field and likely left you shaking your head after the phone call ended. Navigating this system is sometimes very overwhelming and you are much appreciated.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I don’t understand the purpose of this line, they don’t help you an give you the run around, they are very rude. It’s like if the facility isn’t doing anything then they don’t do anything as well it’s like they telling you well “I don’t know what else to tell you” like forget you your Loved One is not important at all. No one ever returns your phone calls. The feedback they leave won’t do anything they going to tell you to email somebody an no one gets back to you or you have to jump through hoops and hurdles just to get some help. That’s if you even get it. This place is a joke on so many levels

My son has been in the CDOC custody for almost 4 yrs. The facility he's housed at now, in Golden is a complete joke. I tried reaching his caseworker two different times a week ago, to no avail. I had some important questions to ask her, all I got was a option to leave a message through the main number. She never bothered to call me back and instead sent another inmate to relay a message to my son saying \your caseworker said you need to call your mommy because she keeps calling here\ what kind of people do you have working in your facilities as caseworkers?? And what are you going to do with protecting our loved ones from this COVID-19 virus?? My son wasn't given a death sentence so why should he die in your hands?

I keep getting an answering machine to leave a message for \Switchboard\ my man was supposed to be released today as it is his MRD. He had to get tranfered to county to get sentenced on a case on 6/12. They gave him time ran concurrent to his other cases and he has served the time. Sentence complete but, county cannot release him. It has to be DOC. They had 10 days from the 12th to today to figure out transport and now he is being held at county past his MRD. I need help and cannot get ahold of anyone at this office. Is there a different number I can call?? I have left 3 voicemails with no response
