Mr. Mark Smith was a tremendous help on assisting me on my transition out of the service due to retirement and needed to complete my resume. I will be retiring in October 2021 and needed my resume for the Hiring our Heroes program. I didn't have a good grip on how to start and needing this to complete my application. I had a deadline looming ahead of me to get this submitted. I was recommended to reach out to Mt. Carmel by the program manager (Ms. Holling). It was great feeling that I was able to complete the process and very reassuring that I was going to be taking care off after talking to Mr. Smith. I strongly recommend to all Active Duty Soldiers or Service members in general who are in Colorado Springs area to utilized their assistance if you are transitioning out the military. They are here for us and minimize stress during our transition process to civilian life. Thank you Mt. Carmel SFC Bryan P.

I have been here many times for various reasons: Help with benefits, assistance with filing a VA claim, and for optometry visits. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The facility is really nice. They offer many services for free and are genuinely helpful with getting you to the right person/organization. I received an email saying that they are providing Thanksgiving dinners for free. While I am blessed enough to not need this particular service I am thankful they are providing for those that do! Mt Carmel really works to help transitioning service-members and Veterans. It’s an organization I would highly recommend.
