I just recently moved here. I sell real estate and do my best to use local companies for all my print and marketing material. I just came to the store to get more business cards made and potentially yard signs. It's 3:30pm they don't close for another 30mins and a lady opens the door and says they are about to close and doesn't have time for me. Then proceed to say that they don't allow solicitation. I have a 1,000 suit on because I sale houses and that's my business attire. Guess this store doesn't need business.

Mr. Joe Schaefer does high-quality work. Joe made the suggestions for my elegant business cards about ten years ago when he owned Speedy Printing Service. I visited Allegra with a copy of an old business card that I wanted an exact match for color and print style along with other changes, Joe gave me a photo copy to make changes on and waited patiently while I made several revisions. He assured me that the colors and print would be precise. Within 7 business days Ms. Meadows, an assistant, sent an email for me to approve the changes, however, I made additional changes. Joe Schaefer and Emily Meadows were professional and patient with me through the whole process. The cards are beautiful.

I stopped by Allegra to have 4 different forms printed up for my company. I brought over the "layouts" from my previous company in pdf format. I explained to Emily I wanted to use the "LAYOUT" but "MODIFY" the other parts to make it ours. She said no problem we can edit them and do what you want. The form isn't proprietary and is no different than layouts that get used off the internet a thousand times daily. Allegra proceeded to call my former company and tell them I was copying their forms to have printed. This was completely untrue and I feel was a breach of ethics on her part. I only wanted to use the layout and input my own information. If she felt something was wrong she could have declined the job, given her reason and we would have understood. Instead she offered to do it, quote me, then call my former employer that I remain in contact with. I have already spoken to another contractor that was needing forms and discouraged him to use Allegra. So in one irresponsible phone call Allegra has lost 7000k pieces and 1400 in business on one shot. That's not to mention myself and neither will the aforementioned contractor ever use them for anything in the future.
