CCCSMD did not get off to a good start with me. I made an appointment the week before for the next Friday at 3:30 in the afternoon. When it came to the day and time of the appointment, I received no call or email to let me know that she would be late calling me. I finally called when I didn't receive a call after almost 40 minutes after my appointment time. When I called to reschedule; the woman who answered the phone stated that she was \just about to call me\ because the initial counselor's last appointment ran over and she thought my appointment was at 4:00 pm instead of 3:30 pm. I called CCCSMD at 4:09 and found out this information, because no one contacted me to state they were running late or needed to reschedule. When it comes to places like this where I will be handling important and sensitive business; I expect professionalism and good communication from the staff. Unfortunately I did not get this from the first impression.

The most robotic impersonal approach I’ve ever experienced. The lady was reading her scripts and that’s about it. At the end of the day I didn’t get any new information she just told me how much I owe and what my monthly payments are with my creditors. Thank you I knew that already. I asked what exactly do they do because again- I know my payments and all and that’s not the problem. She preceded to tell me that some creditors won’t work with customers and that’s when they come in. Which is inaccurate at least in my case (and anybody I’ve ever heard of) because creditors offer all sorts of solutions without any involvement from a third party. At the end of the day it was time wasted and 30 minutes for that matter. Pre qualification should be much better instead of asking a million irrelevant questions ask a few to determine if this is a good fit and don’t waste people’s time. Ex. : asking about gambling I never gambled but the lady had to read of her script all types of gambling (lottery tickets dog fights and a whole bunch more)
