The hotel is a historic building and very interesting to see. Its also a social club and has some rules and regulations that go with that. The rooms are just as old as the building and haven't been updated at all. You really see that with the bathroom. There was 1 ice machine in the whole building and it didn't work. I think it's a really nice place to have a dinner but I can't recommend it to stay overnight.

What an awesome and historic place! I went here for dinner during Devour and this place had been on my visit list for years. There’s a marble table from the White House when Benjamin Harrison was president, which fun fact this club was created to help get him elected as president back in the day. If your a history buff then this is the place to check out. Staff was super friendly and I definitely enjoyed getting to check this place out and finally cross it off my list.
Was not impressed, mattresses must have been as old as some of the cool antiques in the lobby...
Horrible experience with my wedding. Place was rundown. Understaffed. Feces in the toilet in my wife’s suite. Smell of urine in the rooms. Hearing guests scream as they see cockroaches walking through my wedding. Avoid at all costs. Incompetent management is evident. They think they’re the Columbia Club of 20-30 years ago and they simply are not.

I was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Very nice venue. Staff was superb. Food was exceptional. Had a very great experience. I would definitely recommend it.
The classically decked out rooms at this top Indianapolis hotel are each uniquely designed, all boasting an elegant, historic air that runs throughout the hotel. While all rooms come with a flatscreen TV, select rooms have fantastic city views, too. Period features can be found in the hotel’s onsite eateries and bars, such as the Harrison Grille (offering up signature cocktails) and the French Room, where guests can actually order off-menu breakfast items. It’s a gorgeous place to stay. Location: Just an eight-minute stroll from the hotel, guests will find the Circle Centre Mall and Morrison Opera House, while a selection of bars and restaurants are on the doorstep.
