Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE the facility and every part of the process except for the dermatologist I was paired with. Ana is an uncaring dermatologist and can be rude. When I started at Columbia Dermatology, I was paired with a very nice man who unfortunately stopped working there shortly after I started on the medicine. I was then paired with Ana who was snarky, rude, and didn't take the time of day to really see how things were actually going. I had monthly check-ins with her to make sure my medicine was going smoothly, as it is an intense prescription that I was on for a year. My younger sister, Sara, who watched me go through the process and has even worse skin than I did, decided she wanted to go and get on accutane as well. She was assigned Dr. Ana for her first appointment and when she went in for her initial visit to ask to be on accutane, Ana simply didn't ask any questions, said no, and gave her a few sample products to use. Sara was wearing make-up (which she is a professional at and successfully hides her concerning acne) and Ana never asked if she could see her real skin or even asked to check. Dermatologists normally ask if you're wearing make up because they know that it can hide real problems. I was extremely disappointed with my experience, but even more disappointed and angry for my sister who has struggled with prevalent, bad acne for years. This dermatologist doesn't give you the time of day and to top it off she has an attitude.

I no longer go here but during my time here Dr. Adrian Fiejo attended me and was really supportive & positive during my process of taking accutane. I am very thankful that it was him who helped me during that time. I also would see Dr. Anna for other purposes and she was always very honest & sweet with me. With the front desk it depends who’s up there. Some are nice and some make it obvious that they don’t want to be there. Overall, I would recommend this dermatologist because the doctors are great.

I visited the Columbia Dermatology office for the first time today and I was very pleased. They were friendly and had me in and out within 20 minutes.

Awful experience. My husband just went to see her and felt rushed through the appointment. She addressed none of his concerns and told him not to worry about anything. We will not be going back. We wouldn't recommend her at all.
