This Doctor completed my dialysis access in Nov. 2019. It was successfully done, healed well and in use now for hemodialysis started in Oct. 2020. No problems encountered. Dr. Bath was also involved in every follow-up during the after surgery care. He was pleasant to visit with and explained everything well. His English is excellent, easy to understand. He is definitely recommended by this patient. I do recommend that you have this surgery done several months (6 to 12) before your estimated start of in clinic dialysis since it takes time to heal and then time for the vein to enlarge. Don’t skip the hand exercises as this helps it develop into a more functional access. Failure on this will make it more difficult for the nurses at the dialysis clinic to place the two required needles on the first try. You do want that process to go well!
