Called to schedule an appointment for after my husband's quarantine to have his seen for a cough. 15 minutes before the appointment he gets a call that he can't come in because he has tested positive for covid less than 10 days ago. Which is true however these same people told him the 10 days starts at your 1st symptoms which would mean his quarantine is already done. They wouldn't see him still. They did have the doctor talk to him over the phone. But nothing is being done for his cough. No one listened to his lungs, no one even looked at this face. I work in veterinary medicine and if we did this our license would be yanked so fast. I'm so disappointed with the care received. We have had previous really good experiences here however covid protocols are what seems to killing service.

Dr. Ulen is kind and caring, he spent a lot of time with me helping me figure out the best plan to help me with my medical needs.
I have been a patient of South Providence and Dr. Kolker for a few years now. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences - from the staff who check you in to the lab technicians who've drawn my blood. Dr. Kolker is very attentive, informative and thorough. She will advise you on what's best - not just tell you what you want to hear - which is something every patient should seek in a healthcare provider. Highly recommend South Providence Medical Clinic - great patient care all around.
The family medicine staff at this location are helpful, depending on who you get an appointment with. The lab workers on the opposite side of family medicine in the same building are often times unattentive & rude. Their lab has also \lost\ my lab samples in the past, according to the assistant under a doctor I've visited at this location but the assistant herself might have also \lost track\ of the samples. I didn't have insurance at the time & I also couldn't pay my bill immediately due to unforseen circumstances, I feel as if this contributed to the service I received. I'm not sure I would recommend this location to anyone who is seeking a doctor who is attentive, willing to do a thorough job & treats their patients fairly but I do recommend looking for independent reviews of the doctors here before you visit this location.
Dr. Jayroe is awesome. He is attentive and listens to your issues with openness to options. He is down to earth and explains diagnosis/plans in a way that is understandable. The clinic runs very efficiently and it's quite impressive compared to most.
