I used to love this place. But my last 2 visits the platters came out room temperature, at best. For shelling crab, that just makes it unpleasant. My husband thought maybe it was just an off night, but at 100 for the 3 of us, I just can't afford to find out if it improves Really bummed about it.

First off, their peel and eat shrimp was probably the best I've ever had. My wife and I both ordered the shrimp and sausage plate and that comes with a full size plate of shrimp and a few small pieces of sausage and a quartered up baked potato and half of an ear of corn. This is probably like most people would consider a shrimp boil plate. The sausage was tender and everything was cooked well. The restaurant is dimly lit and the music is fairly loud. Most of the seats are a square wood stool. But, there are a few booths. You get your drink's out of a cooler that is located just inside the entrance of the restaurant. We got 2 water bottles. Our 2 plates with 2 water bottles came to 58... Before tip. So if you have to have some authentic cajun peel and eat shrimp then this is a great place for you to try.

The owner is very much involved and intune with her costumers. She has a huge personality, so be ready for anything here. I will definitely be back!!!! And they have kareoke!
