Dr Shaon is wonderful. I have glaucoma in both eyes. I am seen quickly. She is caring, explains everything well and has been instrumental in helping me guard my sight. She has also been helpful in helping me find alternatives so I can continue to wear contacts. I highly recommend Mason Eye Institute.

A warning for anyone thinking of having cataract surgery here that’s has Medicare. They charged my client OVER 4000 on TOP of Medicare & her plan F supplement (supposedly for the newest greatest lens) ..... and she still needs readers. They also nearly turned her to collections trying to get another 400 until we got her supplement claims department involved.

Horrible. The wait times are long, they don't seem to care about the patient, the office staff are a nightmare, and it's expensive. I will never go back...

I wish I had experienced the same compassionate care described here by other reviewers. I was assigned to a doctor that made sexist jokes and used his thumb to “reshape” my eye so he could get a better look at my retina. If you have an appointment with Dr. Hainsworth, cancel and ask for someone else.
