I took my rabbit here shortly after I adopted her because she was having issues with watery eyes. They gave me some eye drops that I was to use for 14 days. However, they didn’t work and her eyes appeared to be worse. I contacted the shelter I got my bunny from (House Rabbit Society) who recommended I take my bunny to their vet who was very experienced with rabbits. That vet told me that the eye drops I was given were not meant to be used in rabbits because they have a steroid in them. So sadly my trip was a waste of time and money. I’m very disappointed. I also never got a chance to speak with the actual vet who looked at my rabbit. Because of COVID I wasn’t allowed inside, which is understandable, but I had questions for the vet specifically that I was not able to ask her. I’ve been to my regular vet for my cats multiple times since COVID started and usually the vet will call me after they’ve checked over my pet to make sure I don’t have any questions. The vet the shelter uses also did the same thing, so it seems weird that My Zoo did not; it was all handled through (I believe) the vet techs.

We boarded our beloved lovebird for a week while we were out of town. He was recovering from a feather-picking issue but was otherwise healthy and happy. When we picked him up he was drenched in some kind of an ointment, was having trouble breathing, and died within days. We even brought him back to see what was wrong and they said he was fine. Clearly, he wasn't since he was dead within 36 hours. When I called to request a refund, Dr. Debbie put me on speaker phone and wouldn't tell me who was listening in until I pointed out how unethical that is. She refused to take responsibility or to issue a refund. They made a huge mistake and our bird paid for it with his life and we are paying for it with our heartbreak. The before and after photos speak for themselves. If you love your pet, stay away! Update 09/20/20: We have since learned that the ointment My Zoo prescribed and drenched Dodge in is EnteDerm, which states in all caps on the tube \FOR USE IN DOGS AND CATS ONLY.\ Dodge was a bird, and a small one at that. He was poisoned.

I had been a client at My Zoo since August 2013 but will never step foot back there ever again. I had taken two dogs and two ferrets there over the years but in the past two years quality of service went way downhill. All I want to do is take good care of my animals and they seem to make that very difficult. Be aware that information given may be wrong and second opinions are always okay to get with major issues. Dr. Debbie misdiagnosed my dog and told me multiple times that my dog could potentially die within 48 hours. She was basically yelling (or at least forcefully speaking) at me for being confused as to how she had come to her conclusion. Mind you, I have an animal background and minimal veterinary knowledge so I typically understand what I’m hearing. However, what she was saying had made no sense to me and caught me off guard. Then due to being freaked out I feel as though I was pressured into paying over 95 for two antibiotics that my dog will never receive because they were not at all what he needed. Whether this was miscommunication or miss information the whole situation was messed up and I would not suggest taking your pet there, especially not to see Dr. Debbie. I had also referred my sister to take her dog there and she no longer does either because of being told by Dr. Debbie that her dog was going to die which was not the case. I’m sure for something simple they can be convenient, just beware.

My rabbit started showing concerning signs of sickness on Thanksgiving Day. Dr. Debbie answered my phone call at lunch time on Thanksgiving Day to help advise me until she was able to see my rabbit the next day. That was above and beyond helpful. MyZoo got my rabbit in the next day and communicated everything that was going on clearly. MyZoo is more expensive than some other vets in town, but I wouldn't go anywhere else because unlike other vet clinics, they always get us scheduled in the same day I call. They're timely and professional.

I love My Zoo. They are great with my 14 year old Australian Shepard and really care about him. Dr. Debbie and Dr. Katie are the best. They also have extended hours which is very convenient for me. I trust them completely.
