First time ever visiting a Panera today. I'd seen lots of adds for their various sandwiches and soups, which all looked delicious. I usually make my own however for dietary concerns, so today was a splurge. I ordered a bowl of tomato soup and a bowl of creamy chicken and rice soup. Each came with what the menu called a \baguette\ which turned out to be a 2 inch slice instead. The bowls were about 1 measuring cup each, for 6.29 each. The taste was great, but I could have made a 2-3 quart pot of my own for that much with leftovers for over a week of lunches. The staff wore masks and parking wasn't too crowded at 1:30 pm. Handicapped spots are available at the door and they do offer curbside delivery, a quick pickup window and their dining room is also open. Needless to say, unless I find an add with a superb sale, I won't be returning.

I really enjoy their bagels. Their coffee's pretty good. I do have a small ray of options for breakfast sandwiches. All of the staff are wearing face masks are requiring patrons also wear face masks. I call their often if nothing else for their bagels.
Panera seems to be trying too hard to please healthy eaters. It's bread and other baked stuff, it's never going to be health food. I enjoy the soup in a bread bowl.
Prices are high, but food is good and customer service is great. They have so many convenient options for ordering ahead, too, so you can skip the lines!
My soup was great. However, I found some hair like fragments in my cookie(visible strand to the left ). Made two attempts to call the restaurant but no answer. Disgusted
