In the most difficult of times, the entire staff and organization went above and beyond to meet the needs of my bereaved family.
I've worked on Shives' computers for about 8 years now. I've seen their work from the back mostly - how they take care of their families and their patience with everyone throughout the whole process. This past June, my stepfather passed away unexpectedly. The same care and decorum I've seen them provide over they years, they did for my mother and my family. I never realized how hard this time might be - and they made whatever we needed happen, so we could focus on our family.
Dealing with the death of a loved one is an incredibly hard experience to go through, but the family at Shives made what could have been a nightmare into a thoughtful, meaningful, painless process. They were caring and gentle, professional and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this group of people. Joe Copeland helped us from start to finish even stopping by our home one evening just to save us a second trip to pick up the suit for my father-in-law. This past week was really hard time for the family, but Joe, Randolph Shives, and everyone at Shives did everything in their power to make it as pleasant an experience as one like this could be. I speak for the family when I say that we are eternally grateful.
Excellent experience with Shives Funeral Home Trenholm Road Chapel. They were very patient and were available to answer my many questions. They went over and above our expectations and made it as stress-free as it could possibly be. Their professionalism was impeccable.
