We bought the Greenbrier C model and we LOVE IT! Our home was also pre-determined and designed with 20k worth of upgrades! The Agent named "Brooke" is a delight to work with also. The way our home was designed is the way we would have picked ourselves. So do yourselves a BIG favor, and check out at the Summerdale Subdivision by Smith Douglas in Columbia Tn.

Everyone is really nice here don’t get me wrong and I was really interested in buying here. Their sites list “buildable models” but to my surprise you cannot build your own house with your choice in options. They already have everything picked out on houses they haven’t even started yet. And if you’ve chosen to go with a townhouse that’s exactly the same. I was also interested in even one of those as well but I’ve been told the one I’d be interested in, they won’t start building that type for another year and they are only going to be building 2 more town homes in that style, so even buy one at all until then. So why even keep putting that it’s a buildable option when nothing clearly is? This subdivision has just really gotten going and they already are telling people they can’t build those styles. I don’t see the point in listing them right now, if that’s the case. They do have smaller townhomes that they will building more of, but they have a one car garage which is fine until you see that no one could park behind you outside of the garage without you waking them up to move their car every time you need to go to work. So those models are only an option if your living by yourself or you both leave at the same time every day. Needless to say that even though I absolutely loved a few of the style homes and layouts I sadly will have to go somewhere else to find a new home. I really think they should think this through because I can’t be the only serious buyer they lost because of their way of doing things.
