Was working on a project with a friend of mine and we needed a hitch installed on his truck. This location kept giving him the run around and saying things to blow him off but they never followed through. The manager does not return calls as promised and It was like he had to chase them down for information. Due to this experience he along with myself now use another company for what we need and will never patronize this location again and thinking also of never patronizing UHaul as a company.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rented a van to move a bedroom and was able to fit a full size mattress as well as the frame, two shelves and a dozen boxes with room to spare. Also got a Ubox from here and was able to unload it onsite fairly easily. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the driveway into the store's lot is very uneven and bumpy, making driving the bigger box trucks a bit more challenging.
We rented a 10' truck for a move from SC to FL. The guy who helped us was very nice and made the process super easy. However, I felt the need to come write this review because the truck was SO DIRTY. Even under normal circumstances, I would have been incredibly disappointed with how absolutely disgusting the cab of the truck was. But particularly in the middle of a health pandemic, I was beyond disappointed to see that they clearly were not doing ANY CLEANING AT ALL of the cab before giving the truck to a new customer. The dirt was visible and it took an hour of wiping with disinfectant wipes to get to the point where the wipes weren't turning completely black after one wipe. For this reason, I would absolutely look elsewhere for my next move - locally or otherwise. We have more items that need to be moved from SC to FL in a few months and we will be using another service.
I came in to the location to reserve a truck. I was helped by James Brown. Let me say that he displayed tremendous customer service!! I feel like he went the extra mile to share with me moving techniques, boxes to use, pricing and just overall I feel like he did an outstanding job . He made me feel welcomed and that my business was valued.
The manager, which she say she was very rude, no customer service at all, and this was over the phone.
The counter person disregarded my online reservation and completed a brand new one at the counter for me which I did not understand why. Whats the point of having people make reservation online only to have you make a new one at the counter? In the new reservation the staff charged me safedrive which I’ve verbally explained to him that I decline and had declined on my online reservation. He said that their touchpad wasn’t working so he would decline it for me. When he gave me my total the cost was different and he then explained that was how rates work, they change so fast he explained. Anyways, I requested for a refund. After a very long wait of watching the asst. manager clicking the keyboards, calling someone, and conversing with another employee, she gave me some lame excuse and I left the location. I was crunch for time and wasn’t doing to wait for her to learn how to refund safedrive. I mean come on, you want to tell me that this is your first request for a refund ever? Like your location just opened yesterday? And you just started work as an asst. manager? Come on man! To all, be ware of this location, likes to cheat customers. Please double check your receipt for any surprise chargers. I do not recommend this location especially if you have time to go elsewhere, go. You will thank me.
I usually get great customer service at this location but today for some reason I didn’t get the help I needed. There was a rude a nasty attitude lady at the front who didn’t want to or even lifted a finger to help. Very disappointing, I am NOT returning
I've paid for my Oct rent... and a month later still being charge for it with additional fees when it wasn't my fault. They had remove fees but not the lien fees. I had spoke to a gentleman by the name James Brown this past Monday and said that he had spoken to the GM removing my lien fee was gonna be done if I came in the morning. Well I spoke to the GM and claim that he didn't know anything about it. The GM said to check with my bank. Well come to find out it wasn't nothing with my bank. It had to do with uhaul. Uhaul places a hold on your money for several days. Reason why they couldn't charge my card because of insufficient funds. Let me remind you that I have a prepaid card or else my card would of decline if I didnt have the funds. Well finally I got my lien fees after the gentleman named James Brown called the police on me and called me a liar after telling me on Monday phone conversation that my lien fees were going to be removed. He went off me because I asked him about the conversation we had and just went off me. Lied and told officers he felt threatened and took my tag number. He is rude and nasty. He misleads customers and when confronted will call you a liar. The rest of the staff are very nice. I been paying on this unit for nearly 2 years and never had an issue with not one staff there. Well with that being said. Im removing my stuff and taking it somewhere else. Horrible experience ever. I personally work with customers and the way it was handle was horrible. My lien fee should of been removed from the beginning and not escalated the way it did. Negative 2 thumbs down for this store.
