I have lived here since august (writing in December) I have love it so far and have enjoyed my experiences with maintenance staff and office staff. I’m doing this review to enter a giveaway, and will update if I win or not lol. But I only give 4 stars instead of 5 because I have enjoyed this apartment so much I wanted to live here next year but unfortunately my room was given away in a contract with the university and am being forced to pay a little bit more a month to be able to stay here and move rooms. I mean it’s an extra 55 a month so it’s not too bad I just wish they would have given a discount on the room because of the circumstances. Anyway I have had no problems other than this and had everything that went out fixed with maintenance the day after putting in a request for it. Rooms are clean, hallways could be cleaner, dog park is mostly clean, and my roommate dog and I really enjoy living here. We feel safe and that’s hard to find in a city like Columbia. the location is good, but staff is awful and not willing to help. also, it is overprice. I did a roommate matching and the door was broken and the living room was dirty before I move in. I ask the staff to change the room number since day one but they requested me to pay fee as if it's my mistake.
Living at YOUnion has been an awesome experience! The front office staff is always helpful, courteous, and goes above and beyond to help students, families, and guests. The maintenance guys are top notch and always willing to crack a joke! Really convenient location to getting in, out, or around the city - especially during Saturday home games!
My apartment was clean and smelled good when I moved in. The customer service is good and they try to help out as much as they can.
