The women who took care of me were kind and professional. I slept through the whole procedure. I prefer not to be knocked out. Never felt a thing. Procedure was on a Friday. The following Monday I was called to make sure I was doing well. Waiting for the pathology report to be sent to my primary. Trusting all is well.

I'll tell you why I gave it a four star rating. The staff when getting an EGD done. Willie took care of my intake, explaining everything. It was my fifth one but first time at a center vs a hospital. He was just a really nice guy. Knowledge, great with giving an IV. People that have complained about the wait time, if you get one out patient at a hospital, that's a camp out situation. The intake nurse was professional yet friendly, outgoing. Helps to relax you if you're nervous. The anesthesiologist was polite and professional. Now going for an office visit, you see and are examined by the PA. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me. I'd say he's more about doing the procedures than bedside manner. If you want a doctor that's friendly, explains things to you, you won't be satisfied. Since most of your time is spent with staff, then you want a practice that has a great staff. From the receptionist to the nurse or PA. The staff here gets 5 stars.

I had a endoscopy done in June and I was so nervous and scared of what to expect. My nurse was Rebecca E. and she was so kind and nurturing and really eased my fears. However, previous to getting my endoscopy done I will say that the wait times to see the Doctor are horrible. Other then that I have no complaints.

Expect to wait no less than 45 min after your appointment start to be called back. I typically wait over an hour, so 45 min is a good day. Once you get called back and have vitals done, no less than 15 minutes will be spent waiting for the doctor. On your first visit, get every question you can possibly ask out of the way, and tell him everything. It is the only time the doctor will write anything down or stay in the room longer than 3 minutes. If you ask him follow up questions in subsequent visits, he will get annoyed and not really answer them. Heaven forbid that after months of his treatments not working you ask him about alternative methods. I didn’t do this, but the walls were thin enough that I could hear him literally yelling at a female patient who asked him about probiotics. If he sends his PA’s in there on a follow up, they won’t seem to know anything other than that the medication can take longer to work than this follow up appointment, so you should make another appointment. Gee, thanks. I’m currently trapped at this place due to my insurance. It has taken months to find an alternative, and ill have to drive an hour to get there. Worth it.

Do not use them if you don't want to pay more than you should. They failed to obtain pre-certification for a procedure and now we're stuck with a much higher bill than necessary because one of the THREE people that handle insurance dropped the ball.
