Extremely negligent about covid safety. No social distancing, no mask enforcement, no temperature checks or symptom tracking. Bunk beds are 5 feet apart and there are 8 men to a room. They’ve done absolutely nothing to keep clients safe and distanced during this dangerous new surge in cases. This facility should be shut down.

I worked here for a few months, and never have I felt more unsafe and less appreciated in any environment in my life. I legitimately felt sorry for the some of the staff who worked there because the company only requires 2 people to be on duty at all times along with 136 offenders, the workload is unrealistic and some of the staff are doing things that are against policy. I don’t recommend this place for anyone!
I have been given an opportunity to change my life... I feel that staff could be more capable of facilitating that change. I believe there is a stigma, that all clients are bad people, and trying to get one over on the staff... I realize that every single one of us did something to put ourselves here. I also realize that there are Clans that are not looking to change their lives. And I also realize that it is better to err on the side of caution as opposed to being sorry about it later, however I feel that staff could be better trained to recognize the individuals who are legitimately trying to change their lives and possibly treat them as such... In today's Society, when people are believed to be one thing and treated as such typically after being treated as such for so long sometimes it's all too easy to to give up and become what everybody says that we are. That's not to say that the staff is fully at fault because it's trickled down from the Staffing supervisory positions, and from facility directors and Community Corrections boards.
I attended here finished my sentence on the first shot paid all fines associated with my case and now 5 years later Adams county is coming after me for unpaid fines.....so the 3000 dollars in fines I paid to the halfway house was never given to the courts so the only thing I can assume is the halfway house kept the money hmmm some shady business
This is the worst place! The staff is rude, they don't about anyone but themselves ,now under new ownership it's even worse ! Their staff is the most terrible group of human beings ! They think they are the law and make up their rules ,they torture the residents and make it IMPOSSIBLE to move forward .They send people back to prision for no reason .My boyfriend was only sentensed to 3 months, he was not previously in jail or prison he can't leave until 2021!!! I HATE THIS PLACE MUCH ! All the staff needs to be locked up
