An excellent place to come and visited for a relaxing stroll. On the day I visited, the gate to the homesteads was closed - this meant you could drive down the tree line drive, but not park on the grounds. On-street parking is available near the entry gates to Yaralla House. The main homestead was built during the 1860s. The grounds are very Impressive - and equally impressive is the tree line drive. I didn’t see any searing on the grounds. No public toilets. Lots of large trees providing plenty of shade. ‘The Walker Trust Act’ was passed in 1938 and Yaralla became the Dame Eadith Walker Convalescent Home under the control of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital - NSW Health looks after the grounds. #concord

This is a great space to go for a walk with her nice variety of plants, some large paddocks to run around in that's my last tracks that run down along the river or up through the gardens. There is a nice old house which is at the end of the driveway that has a cafe but this was not open at the present time . In summer this would be a great place to have a picnic.

Dame Eadith Walker Estate is a great place to relax and just take in the majestic grounds and the heritage. From the tree lined driveway, heritage buildings, magnificent gardens and the foreshore of the Parramatta River this is a marvelous place to visit.

Beautiful, well kept land that has been perfectly maintained. I hope they keep it this way forever. There’s not many parts of inner west Sydney like this. Great for walks, dogs (on leash), exercises or just having a peaceful place to chill out.

Just a magical wonderful place! My dog, myself and my friends just loved exploring the vast grounds. Some trees there I have never seen before.

This is a beautiful step back in time to a grand old estate. The grotto, although fenced off at the moment is fascinating.
