This class was extremely instrumental in preparing us for labor and postpartum. I would highly recommend it to anyone expecting (even if you’ve already done labor before). We felt incredibly informed and equipped for both the labor process and the steps to follow. The class encompasses a little bit of everything from labor practice to nutritional advice to reviewing all the many emotions associated with childbirth. We are so grateful we were informed on various issues that then allowed us to make the best decisions for our family.

Amanda and Tim are both extremely kind and caring. Amanda is an excellent teacher and the information provided is great for both mom and dad. Even if there are changes in your birth plan, the knowledge you will have going into birth will be an immense benefit. We drove an hour and a half both ways to take their class, and it was definitely worth it. If you want to be mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared for birth, along with being as informed as possible, then this is your class!
Amanda was a wonderful Bradley Method teacher. I took her classes before my first child. She helped me feel prepared and confident in the very unpredictable experience of birth. It helped me and my spouse feel on the same page with what we were about to go through and even brought up things that I didn't even know we should be talking about. We are preparing for our 3rd and we did a refresher course and that was equally as calming. Highly encourage anyone, not just those seeking a natural birth, to take Confident Birth Childbirth Classes.
The Confident Birth class was an EXELENT way for us to prepare for the pregnancy and birth we wanted! As a result of this class, we walked into labor confident and ready for the hard and beautiful work of birthing a child. My spouse knew exactly what to watch for in my behavior and how to coach me in labor, birth, and postpartum. We both knew how to ask questions of our hospital care team and how to advocate for ourselves and our baby for the experience that makes the most sense for our family. I highly recommend!
Attending this class gave my husband and I the tools to be able to plan for the birth of our first little girl. The course material is easy to follow and the labor/relaxation practice made it really easy to learn in a more hands on way. We also appreciated that Amanda was always open to taking questions and Tim was always on hand if the coaches had a question from the coaches perspective. Taking this class has made my husband and I more of a team and I feel that we can confidently walk into the labor delivery room and know that what ever happens we make it through delivering our little one.
Amanda is a hard worker and is constantly improving her class from series to series! She a fantastic teacher and the students enjoy what they learn. I’m mostly just making sure our kids don’t ruin the learning experience as I put them to bed:) These classes are a must for any couple that wants to be educated about the birth process and the designer of the birth they desire!
Confident birth gave my husband and I so much knowledge for pregnancy, delivery and baby. Being first time parents, we felt clueless and scared. Each class we walked away with something new to discuss or learn. I personally loved the role it played for dad. It gave him confidence and guidance on what to do to help support me though labor AND he knocked it out of the park! Highly recommend this course. Amanda is a great teacher.
