Lovely venue, helpful staff! Has it's own parking & modern function room perfect for parties!
We held our wedding reception here and it was fabulous. The room was decorated to perfection and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it as did we. The guests were served promptly and the meal was to die for. Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
This place is in need of a revamp. Toilets are a bit of a mess and the bar area is dated to say the least. Staff were very friendly and welcoming so not all bad
Cricket and bowling aside, this is a brilliant venue for hire. Paul, the steward, is the most welcoming and helpful I've experienced. There is a perfectly sized hard-floored hall with a kitchen and serving facility, while it's comfortable bar and shared toilets are at the \club\ end, where the full bar and seated/TV recreational area can be freely accessed. The hall has just been decorated and I would give it 5 stars if the rather tired toilet facilities were revamped. Nevertheless,, Iwould recommend this venue very highly.
