Staff is extremely friendly. 24/7 access to phones and cable TV. Laundry is offered everyday and the food is much better than other places. The quarantine dorms house 12 inmates and they are accommodated with a microwave. Free medical treatment as well as free mental health screening. Was only there for 5 days before being released on bond but the facility is one of the better ones.

The overall experience was awful, not clean especially considering we are in the middle of a pandemic plus the detainees don’t even have a clock so there is no way for them to know what time of day it is, and that’s apart from the fact that it takes 3 days for them to get clean laundry. We are all humans and deserve to be treated as such. My husband just got transferred to another location and it way better.
My husband is an inmate there. I was very worried about him because he's a first time offender, but he said that he's being well taken care of. His dorm mates are his support, and they're able to watch tv, play cards, and have some outdoor time. When he got some money into his account, he's able to call me at anytime. He's getting the help he needs through therapy, various programs and AA, etc.. he's already a changed man and told me himself that he couldn't have been in a better facility.
This detention is one of the best in Texas. The inmates had a lot of privilege . I also feel so comfortable working here . I had the amazing manager captain Boss how any one can name it. La Sandra Brown. She is the most dedicated person to work. Respect . Multitask. As manager always supporting creative always positive make the environment super awesome she is the dream Boss any one will love to have. With my sincere respect with out her we probably won't be here. That also makes us. To be transportation officers or officer on the floor to provide the best quality to the deteineds. I want to clarify that the deteined are being treat with respect zero tolerance of discrimination. This place make you feel as home. Always organized super clean place.. but if all the detentions are like our in Conroe.. every single officer at the job will be happy and treat the deteined the same as well.
One of the best escape rooms I ever played, took me quite some months to get out. 10/10 would do again
