wonderful place and warm congregation. It is magical. You should, of course, go to pray, but if for some reason you do not want to pray you should just go see how magical it is. The Rabbi has a beautiful voice as well.

Very warm place with traditional conservative services. Many programs, shabbat dinners, etc. for a small congregation. The new rabbi, Joe Schwartz, is a dynamic new young leader and should be great for reaching out to even a larger community. Very cute historic building with a lovely garden out front.

I really love the Conservative Synagogue of Fifth Avenue. I began looking for a synagogue shortly after I moved to NYC, and after attending services at a few other synagogues, I knew this was the one for me. Everyone was very welcoming; I felt like I was home. My fiance and I enjoy Shabbat services, Friday night dinners, and other social/educational activities that they have throughout the year. This small synagogue in Greenwich Village is a hidden gem. I highly recommend checking it out!

This shul is great. A very warm and welcoming place that makes us feel right at home. Even though we've moved away and it's a bit of a shlep to make it here, we still do it occasionally because we feel like this is now part of our family. They also love visitors who pop in for any reason or occasion. Really, an amazingly warm and friendly place.
