Went to see about a long standing problem, GP did nothing, tried to get me off medication that worked and put me on medication that does not work, was going to give me a script for a kind of deep heat which is 4 online nearly three times the price of a prescription. I now have a phone call on the 4th of January for a problem I have had for four years. Getting like groundhog day. I am not getting the correct treatment.

The worst place to get an appointment for the same day - your told to call at 8:30 but by the time you get through and all appointments are gone for the day. Your told to do an e-consultation and when it tells you you need to see somebody - you can’t as they have no appointments. You’d think by now they re-look at the booking system as the amount of complaints they get with regards to it. Every review platform complains of this - Consett you need to re-think your booking system so all the residence of consett can get an appointment when needed (it’s not like where a massively populated town)

Very dangerous behaviour from receptionist Caroline, who forced my 7 year's old to wear a used face shield, when we clearly been advised by the doctor she doesn't need to wear one, the government guidelines says that kids under 11 years old doesn't need to wear one. After we have seen the doctor we wanted to give back the face shield, and we been refused by Caroline saying with a very rough face (( O no we can't take it back once is been used)) What really??? You had put on my daughters head a used shield and you telling me that you can't take it back because she had wear it for 2 minutes to see the doctor? I will make a official complaint against her. This is a joke, SAVE THE NHS but what's NHS staff do for us the people? I hope someone will take this very seriously as anyone can get really infected by a careless NHS staff like Caroline. We still have the shield if the Consett medical management wants to see and weare it in the same time if they think is safe to do so.

Filled in e consult form on Friday, they will ring u back within 48 hrs, waited till Tuesday morning, filled in another e consult form which repeats the question 10 times over, its now 12 noon Wednesday and nobody's rang back so it looks like I'll have to go to a chemist and see if I can get what I want there hopefully it's not just on prescription, the system is not working why can't you just have a call from a duty doctor or nurse.
