Wish I could give a 0 star. This hotel is a joke. We were hoping it would be better since it was under new management compared to the previous reviews. YEAH RIGHT. We had to stay here because we only needed a one night stay for a wedding we were attending. When we checked in, the staff was disinterested. Upon entering the area our room was in, the entire building smelled of smoke and looked neglected in care and cleaning. Once we were in our room, there was a strong smell of smoke yet again but we thought perhaps this is normal for the entire hotel. Eventually we became used to it, and got through the night. The carpets were torn up. There were rings on the bath rub. Terrible place overall, but again we were desperate. We checked out the following morning without any problems. Then we found out we were charged a 100 smoking fee over a week later, though we hadn't smoked and neither of us do. We called the hotel to discuss this and were told to call back the following day between 9 and 4 to speak to a manager. Once we did this, he stated that he couldn't help us and would send an email to the owner who would have to contact us. We never heard from the owner. We contacted the manager again, and he said he couldn't help us still. "You're just going to have to wait for the owner to contact you." Go figure, we never heard back. I attempted to dispute the charge on my credit card, and finally heard back today, almost 4 months later, that there is no way to get it back. Don't stay at this hotel. Don't. Don't. Don't. There is no reason to waste your time or money, as well as potentially even lose money for no reason at all.

As we pull in there is a hooker negotiating the final cost... as we were checking in 3 people were charged 3 different prices.. luckily the hooker was charged twice what we were, although I would have expected the extra cash to come to us for having to explain the transaction as we came in. All that aside once we got in the room there was no disappointment there either. Pizza on the walls, Burn holes and stains in the bedding, dirty washcloth hanging on shower, trash in the can, and some one stole the bible. If u have a choice of a dumpster or here... check the dumpster prices first.

This hotel is infested with bed bugs and they offer you no resolution but to put your clothes in the dryer to kill any bugs. How about the rest of your belongings? The Bathroom in room #305 had black mold all over the ceiling and walls. Outlets were hanging, the deadbolt latch on the door was busted in half therefore it served no purpose of safety. They will not refund any of your money due to any of the these things. We collected the bedbugs in a ziplock and took a video of the room in case anyone wants to see. Management was nasty and basically didn't care and ignored the issue. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO STAY OR TAKE YOUR FAMILY UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING EATEN ALIVE BY BEDBUGS WHILE YOU SLEEP. IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA, I DON'T RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AS IT MAY KILL YOU OR LAND YOU IN THE HOSPITAL. I can't even give this place a rating other then it's horrible!!! Heed the warning or suffer from bedbug bites and black mold.

I booked the Jameson Inn through Priceline when I went to Myrtle Beach with my friend. We loved it. The rooms were clean, the housekeepers came everyday, it was affordable, the in-room TV was modern, there was free breakfast, and the staff was polite. Look, the hotels right on the coast are expensive, but if you stay at Jameson, you are only 10 minutes away from the beach. Even Conway itself is a cool place. Coastal Carolina's golf course is open to the public and right near Jameson Inn. The only complaint I have was that one of the four lamps had a burnt out bulb, but it didn't ruin our stay. Would book here again!

If you want your personal belongings stolen then this is the place you want to go. Me and my wife went out to dinner and when we came back our room was not how we left it and her wallet and gold chain was gone. When you go to one of these places you want to feel that you can leave something in your room and it wont get stolen but not in this hotel the maintenance man is a crackhead and have access to all the rooms with the key card. The manager also kick us out put all our stuff outside and told us to leave the property because we called the cops to file a report. The manager was high or on drugs slobbering from his mouth as he was talking to me and the officer they camera's mysteriously broke that afternoon and were not functioning. If your planning on staying here be very careful on what you leave in the room

I just stayed there last night 8-7-16 checked for bed bugs didn't find anything. Though it smelled horrid of mold and mildew. Checked behind the bedside table and I'll be dammed mold covering the while back of it. Mold all over the shower curtain had no toilet paper because the people next door took it and the table chair set we were supposed to have. We also had a room that was connected to another we had locked it up and left for a few hours come back it's unlocked. Thank goodness we didn't leave anything in the room. Next morning were up and about are something crawling on my sons blanket it's a waterbug/cockroach. Talked with a man upfront to tell him about the tables and toilet paper. He said that they don't have any in the rooms which is a lie because other people had them. Didn't like the place if I had to I'd rather sleep in the truck.

This failed excuse of a hotel features black mold lining its rooms, filthy hallways, and a rude staff to boot. The MCHD would have a heart attack viewing this place. The owner sent me away empty-handed after asking for five more towels, (which he wanted me to manually return.) This hotel is not worth staying over 100 per night, and I honestly feel robbed.

This is an awful place to stay. They staff and manager is extremely rude. Instead of moving us to another room or being prompt when we had a toilet issue they took their Derek time we had to wait over an hour for someone to fix it. When we asked for a refund the manager told us "no" there's no refunds. So apparently they could careless about customer satisfaction. If you stay in this hotel you will most definitely regret it. You get what you pay for.
