I understand Covid-19 is important, but I'm not able to get answers for my questions and I'm trying to retire in November. I've left them several of messages not to have any returned to me. Yet I'm trying to retire in November.

Our pension annuity date for September falls on a non banking day, right before Labor day. Instead of The Cook County Pension Fund rescheduling the date of payment to the last banking date of August; they sent the ACH payment file in for a non banking day , Sunday, Sept 1st. I am sure that CPD retirees and Social Security recipients were paid today. But, the Cook County pensioners have to wait til the bank decide to put the funds in their accounts. It's absolutely no reason why The Cook County Pension fund could not make this date adjustment for their members. Not only do it indicate them not caring; but its very unprofessional! What professional organization schedule a payment on a Sunday?
