So nice to see a store that hails back to the wonderful old bookshops of some of our great cities. Great books, affordable prices and helpful staff... I always stop by when I am in the area. Nice New York section and abundance of books on baseball and baseball cards too. It's tucked away... Don't miss it!!!

Above average used bookstore with more collectables than bestsellers. The store is packed, so much so that books are everywhere, even in stacks on the floor, which is great if you are a book lover. Both my husband and I found books to purchase. The individual shelves are clearly marked with subject matter but the layout of the sections wasn't completely clear to me, and we didn't realize that some sections were in the vestibule outside the entrance doors.

Overall the selection was great and the Sci-fi selection was pretty good, which is surprising as we space nerds are hoarders so stores are hard pressed to find them. Maze like, which is fun for a used book store. Tall shelves with plenty of ladders but you may have to move a stack or two to use one. I liked this place a lot.

Willis Monie is a super cool bookstore. I always make sure to stop by when I'm in Cooperstown. They have TONS of old books on every subject. It's not the place to go for the latest publications, but that's not to say they don't have contemporary authors on offer. I always gravitate toward the section with old magazines and advertisements....also tons of old art and design books, stuff about American history, lots of stuff about baseball, american authors etc etc etc. I could (and often do) spend hours in there perusing their awesome selection.

A hidden gem in Cooperstown for sure. Was able to pick up a few rare baseball books I normally wouldn't find anywhere else. I would definitely recommend giving yourself a set amount of time to explore the entire shop as the selection is extremely large. Next time I will make sure to do so as I'm sure I'll find some more product that fit my taste (was pressed for time during my visit).
