This location was a fantastic day trip ! It is located pretty deep in the forest and the road at the end turns into a one-way for some time because there's mass vegetation on one side and a beautiful river on the other. Once you get to the end of the road, it is a big parking lot with picnic benches and two bathrooms. There are also signs to direct you which way each waterfall is. I did both the waterfall hikes in less than two hours, and I was slow because I was busy taking photos and videos for the gram. Such a beautiful place and would recommend anyone to come out and enjoy such lush Oregon nature. At Silver Falls, my dog walked off the edge into some hole near the fall, but the collar and leash saved her from going too far. She's safe and okay now !

We absolutely love the Golden and Silver Falls in Coos Bay! Very beautiful! A very short and easy hike! Three short trails with two waterfalls! The third trail will take you to the very top of the Golden Falls. This one is a bit steep but not bad at all. Driving to the trailhead was It was easy. Good road. It was such a nice and clean park, with beautiful creek and picnic tables and all. A very family friendly place!
Way off the beaten path. Road narrows down to one lane gravel road. Very nice waterfalls, easy hike from parking lot. If you like waterfalls, it's worth the drive.
The waterfalls are beautiful here! An old road once came through the area to get to homesteads in the area and part of that road minus a bridge is now used as a trail passing at the base of Silver Falls. Another lovely trail intersects this trail and goes to Golden Falls. I find it quite fun to explore the area at the base of Golden Falls. Both waterfalls have considerable mist this time of year which makes it difficult to photograph up close but they are gorgeous waterfalls pouring over cliffs with lots of rocks some with moss-covered. To get to Silver Falls the trail gets very muddy.
Great hiking spot. Beautiful waterfall. Only 60 minutes round trip. Mostly flat or gradual climb. There are several rocks on the hike when you you get close to the falls. Three different Trails for multiple views of the 2 falls.
An amazing experience. The walk to the bottom of Golden falls is easy. The falls come out of nowhere and WOW. The hike to the top is easy but all uphill, obviously, and as a bonus you pass silver falls which is beautiful in a completely different way. 10/10 recommended.
An amazing spot! You get 2 waterfalls in one area, which was super cool. It is way off the beaten path, about 20 miles down a long road. Luckily my girlfriend and I reserved a spot a little over a mile away from the falls so it was convenient for us to make it there. The hikes are short (10 minutes or less) to each of the falls. We went during the week and had the place to ourselves. Weekends can get a bit busier. I would definitely come back here again!
Very beautiful area! The trail is not too difficult but gets narrow because of foliage in spots.
