In the summer the holes in the rocks have salamanders in them. Fun for kids to pull out and place close to land. Once the summer hits those holes dry up.

Great host!Very well keep grounds! No trash, clean outhouses. Campsites next to creek. We had a wonderful time. Check out the falls at the end of the road.

Great place to camp, kids enjoyed playing by the river. Camp hoast was really friendly. Only issue we had was that one of the campers dog was not on a leash and kept coming to our campsite approaching our 2 small dogs. We had all of our 3 dogs on leashed.

What can one expect of a camping experience in coos county? Well that depends on your interests. This week, our family interest was a cozy stroll thru wooded parks, river side access, hiking to majestic waterfalls, and at the end of the day, a serene and quiet environment to rest in... We found it all at Neseka, a very well kempt and low cost spot just a few miles from Golden and Silver Falls. Decades ago, you couldn't pay me to stay there, where it seemed a 24hr party could be found, complete with brawling drunkards and skeezy tweakers, 365 days a year. To my surprise, a very kind gentleman has completely reinvented that space as the Park Host for 2 years. Dan, you're the man and the Heitman family will see you soon!
