This company forgot the first rule of Customer Service, to help the customer. I had been a customer for 6 years and have been growing unsatisfied each year of use. I should have known when the installer showed up and did not know how to program the system to walk away at that time. However the supervisor showed up and took care of everything and said he was in training so I stayed. The second red flag was when my alarm was triggered but the monitoring company never called me or the police. When I inquired as to why I was told I needed an upgrade to the software and they would get right on that. Two weeks later and several phone calls they actually showed up and fixed the problem. The third red flag, and final straw, was when my alarm kept giving false alarms. I called and had a technician scheduled to come out and take a look. Who do they send, the same technician who 6 years later still does not know how to program or work on my system. He spends six hours in my home and doesn’t even let me know what is wrong until I ask several times. Also during this six hour repair job he tells me now I need a new cellular card and the one they just upgraded is no good. Once I finally get this information I let the technician know please have the company provide me two estimates, one to fix the problem and one to upgrade the system. As of this the posting, which is three weeks later, I have yet to receive any information or a call from the company. This has prompted me to leave this review and cancel my service from this company. -\tUnqualified Technicians -\tZero communication with customer -\tPoor Alarm Monitoring

As a personal and business client of Copeland Security Group, I highly recommend them to anyone interested in a home or office security system. I recently updated my home system, and CSG brought it into the 21st century! With my smartphone in hand, I can arm/disarm my system, make sure that I remembered to close the garage door, turn the porch lights on, and even see who's standing at the front door! Also, knowing that I'm working with good, local people is a huge bonus. If you have a home or office in the River Region, look these folks up!
