Kurt came out to give me a quote for six new windows, repairing one window and removing one window. He told me there was no need to replace three of the windows. That's honest! The window removal is so fantastic I can't tell it's been done. (He matched wood and paint on the outside of the house.) Work ethic and response time couldn't be better. We are updating a new (to us) house and wish there was more work he could do for us!
I am a long time customer of Ameritint and I have had the please of using Kurt for multiple jobs. He has always delivered above and beyond the ask. His pricing is reasonable and his work ethic is outstanding! He has come back and even helped us hang posters and lighten up the tint in a specific area so the poster is visible outside the storefront. Highly recommended!
Excellent service, products, and attention to detail. I originally contacted Kurt in mid-May of ‘18 to get some windows tinted on an older home I had purchased. After learning that the windows were original to the house (‘82), most had lost their seal, all were missing screens, and were single pane, it became evident to me that my money would be better spent on new low-e windows. Even so, Kurt ran through all of the options with me (tint, replacement glass, replacement frames, etc). Once I confirmed my desire to go with new windows and some privacy tint, he brought samples by, very thoroughly explained my options, provided information from the manufacturer, and explained the order/production/installation process and timeline. The information Kurt provided made me feel very confident in my decision. Upon learning that I was also interested in plantation shutters, he put me in contact with a Dallas firm that he works with and assisted with that entire process as well. Per production timelines and my own scheduling requests, the windows were installed late June and the shutters were installed on 8/9/18. I am absolutely thrilled with the finished products and the entire process. The exterior of my home received a 20-year face-lift, has almost no outside noise (to the point I kind of miss the birds singing), and the shutters are beautiful!! If you are evaluating options for your windows, from tint to replacement, give Kurt and his team at AmeriTint a call. You’ll be happy you did!
Ameritint did a high performance glass replacement throughout my whole home in Grapevine TX and it looks great. Save me a bunch of money over the quotes for new vinyl windows and on my AC bill. I would recommend Kurt Howell and his team to anyone!
AmeriTint has been bugging me for a review. I received quotes from a number of suppliers to tint my living room windows. They were very prompt and courteous in providing a quote. Problem was there quote was 15% higher than the competition for the same product. Nice people though.
I've had Kurt out several different times to tint various windows in my home -- I keep deciding I need more tinted as I live here longer. The last time he was out, he also installed security film on some doors and windows. I'm very happy with his work!
Finding a company who specialized in HOME window tint wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Many specialize in cars, but also do homes, that's not what I wanted. Kurt and his team were spectacular. I reached out to tinting companies before our new HOME window panes had been installed (my another company) to find out what the process entailed. Kurt was more than prompt in his responses and even advised me on how to handle the warranty for our windows which would be voided when the tint was installed**. He worked with to find a time that would be best for me for estimate and installation. There were zero surprises in estimate to final cost and the instillation was seamless. Kurt was professional, worked quickly and the tint looks wonderful. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the work Kurt did and the way the tint looks. We highly recommend using AmeriTint for your window tinting needs. **when applying tint to windows the window warranty is voided since it is considered "tampering with" the windows. Kurt advised me to get copies of the detailed window warranty to ensure the warranty they offer would cover the window panes. The tint warranty Kurt and AmeriTint offered overrode the now voided warranty.
