Awful. I moved to a new apartment and Larry created me a new policy. He was supposed to cancel the old one. But he apparently quit and nobody canceled the old one. I later talked to someone else who said they would fix it and they didn't. I have now have had to call 4 times to get it fixed. I honestly could have created and canceled a policy online in minutes if they gave you that functionality on their website. I have no idea why a local agency exists when the only point of them is customer service and this one lacks it. Brandon Walters/Allstate, have fun getting beat out by smaller startups like Lemonade because they allow you to actually do things online for yourself unlike your bloated organization.

I called with an issue regarding a surcharge on a Tuesday and was told by the person I spoke with that she would contact my adjuster and get back to me that day. I had to call back 3 days later and had no recollection of the name of the person I spoke to just that her voice was raspy. After finally getting ahold of "Karen" I was informed something completely different than what had been discussed with me so I decided to cancel my policy. At that point, Karen took it upon herself to tell me how rude it was for me to describe her as someone with a raspy voice. Uh, how else are you to be identified? I was given three names and none sounded familiar. Karen may need additional training on how to effectively work with customers because she just lost one.
