Good customer service. The lady working there was very friendly and told me about a sale going on in the store. When I asked her a question about a certain product she was polite and patient. I changed my mind about an item at the checkout and she was super nice about it. The items in the store are a bit overpriced, but if you go during a sale it’s a not a bad deal :) I appreciate the kindness of the employee who was working when I visited!

i got piercings and a really severe embedding in my left ear. the customer service was awful and the manager insisted on it not being their fault while a tattoo parlor said he would refuse doing it if it were him. she refused a reimbursement and was rude about it too. go to a tattoo parlor for a piercing, costs the same and have better customer service!
It was a quick and relatively painless process to get them pierced. But the spacing just looks weird to me. I feel like it doesn't really look evenly spaced and they (the third piercings) are a lot further apart from the second piercing then the second piercings are from the third. I ended up taking them out. The price wasn't bad, but will probably go somewhere else once they heal (if I decide to get a third piercing again). -- EDIT: I have a photo but it won't seem to show up. Basically, I can fit my pinkie in between the second and third piercing on one ear, but could only fit a pen between the second and third on the other side. But couldn't fit either between the first and second.
I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND coming to this Claires especially for ear piercing. The store manager requested that we pierce with real diamond earrings on my daughter to avoid infections.Not only did it infect her ears, but the earring was deeply embedded in her ears! I came back to the store to let the store manager know what had happend (Tall girl with overcrowded tattoos) was highly rude and unprofessional. She kept saying to me she is no doctor and there was no solution or refund. So spend your hard earned money elsewhere unless you want this.Never coming here again.
At the Coquitlam mall location the manager was awfully rude. Her employee was just as rude. The lady that run me through the toll was great. The manager stuck her nose in the air and argued a coupon that I had had that clearly said that it would work for my shopping experience. I asked her to read the coupon again and she again told me that it was not applicable. Plain as day the coupon said it was valid for my purchases. She was so rude she made my daughter feel bad about coming there to shop at the store. So bad that my daughter apologize to me for buying her things. My daughter got the coupon for having her 7th birthday at the Abbotsford location. This was on May 17th she had 10 friends there and had the best time. The ladies at the Abbotsford location are so amazing that if they were not I would never set foot in a Claire's again. For a store that has over price items and sales all the time you would expect that the managers would make children have a good experience in the store. She was also rude to another customer in the store and it made my experience just that much more awful. if one were to shop at Claire's I highly suggest not going to the store with your kids.
DO NOT GET YOUR CHILDREN PIERCED HERE!!!! I got my child's ear pierced at this location, and not only did the girl not change her gloves, or sanitize the gun. She insisted that she knew what she was doing. Please don't get your child's ear pierced at this location this is the outcome.
I went into the store today to grab a few scrunches for my daughter and to my surprise the employee working showed terrible customer service. The employee was just standing around. I went to checkout and the girl working the register insisted i do buy 3 get 3 free. After spending almost an hour in the store and no interaction or customer service, and now your going to tell me to go and grab 3 more things Yeah right! NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!.
I have been in this location many times since the new management. I have heard nothing but rude and un nice things from her said to her employees. I have never seen such poor leadership. This store used to be amazing. None of the great team that we grew to love is ever here to bring smiles to my girls faces. I would not recommend this location as this store is ran poorly.
