Dog walking, easy access, lots of wildlife. If you're a birder there's 3 year round mating pairs of eagles in the area, a couple kingfishers, recently moved in Herons as well up the top of the river near the oxbow and marsh ponds. If you like identifying vegetation as well there is also significant bio diversity thanks to the yearly salmon run.

One of Coquitlam’s finest park asset for trail walking, running, or river tubing! On a hot summer day, this is the place to go for some shade and cool by the water. There are no washroom facilities around but there is a portable toilet located in a parking area near Coquitlam River Park by Shaughnessy St.

Is well maintained and a beautiful walk. Can choose whether you want a longer or short loop. Dog friendly but please keep your dog on leash and under control. Quite a bit of bike traffic so keep an eye out.
